1997 plymouth breeze the fan for heat and a/c only blows on high?

is this a problem with the switch itsself or is it a relay somewhere?

Answers:
Resisor for the blower motor is open. Resulting in high speed fan
operation only.
Its most likely the motor itself going bad.
Follow the blower fan wires to the blower resister two screws and one electrical plug trip to the auto parts place four fan speeds again. Easy
there is a resistor that does go bad on these cars and it will cause it to do this ,,i own a repair shop and see a few of them like this,,it mounts on the heater box itself,,and is usually accessible through ,,or behind the glove box area,,and easy to replace,,it helps control the heater speed by using resistance,,after you replace it it will do fine,,the heater motors on these cars will last a long time,,but the resistors seem to burn out in a few years,,i hope this help,s.
