Bicycles..?

My mum has two broken spokes on her bike & wants to know how many spokes can get broken before her bike is no longer safe to ride!

Answers:
count how many are left - then devide by the weight of the person riding the bike = if it is safe or not.
or just go ot or check us out at - http://www.thegncc.org/

you can ride it as long as it feels safe, but you can take the wheel to a bike shop and get them repaired,

if you take just the wheel in the bill will be less from the cycle shop
Losing just the 2 spokes will weaken the wheel and let more break.
These things are an absolute nightmare to fix (need to be balanced / adjusted properly to keep the wheel straight. You should take it to a cycle centre to be fixed or buy a new wheel.
Several need to brake before its unsafe - However..
With even one spoke broken, the wheel will eventually loose its roundness, the bike will become more inefficient and more spokes will brake as the loads start to spread unevenly. I'd change the wheel to be on the safe side.
i donk know but it would be safer to take to a bike shop they do repair on wheels this is cheaper than bying a now one!
