Southport Airshow?

Any other fellow aviators (military or not) heading to Southport Airshow? Ever been before? Is it any good?

I was at one in Biggin Hill Years ago, and one in Karlsborg Sween a year or so later, but since tehn have missed out on the chanc eto go.

Just getting back into flying, flying Microlights right now. and lovin it again.

Just like to get some thoughts on what to expect and fi anyonme can tell me the best way to get from John Lennon Airport to Southport. and the Airshow.

I live in Southport and go to the Airshow most years. It's pretty good with a wide variety of planes and helicopters. I think the Red Arrows are on this year as well. One thing I will mention is that with it being on the beach it can be a bit soggy if it rains or the tide has been in so you might need wellies!

I went for the first time last year. My bf is into aircraft, i'm a novice but we both enjoyed it and i hope we'll go again this year. for best directions have a look at the show's website or contact southport tourist info as roads get closed to help traffic move on the show days. get there as early as possible to get a good spot.
