I am 31 yrs and cannot drive. Is there any one else my age or over who cannot drive?

Answers:
I finally learnt when I was 34 - so yeah. Had no need to until then - then I moved "Up North" (ie; away from London) - so suddenly a car was kinda handy.

That was a couple of years ago and I'm still probably not very good driver - but I'm getting there.
My mother in law can't drive and she's 53
the only person I knew that couldnt drive was my grandma.
im 32 an i havent a clue how to drive.
My granny can't drive - she's 78.
I know of several people. I think kit is a good idea for people not to learn to drive 'cause it keeps them out of my way on the road!
I passed my test at 34 I thought I had left it late but now Im inderpendant can go where ever I like without having to ask someone for a lift. Get driving you wont regret it!

I'm 38 and I can't. I keep thinking I will take lessons then I remember what a disaster they have been in the past.
I know someone who is 32 today and can't drive. Also both of my nans can't (one in 60's the other 70's). My friend's parents can't (both in 60's), my friend can't (26), my other friend's mom can't (50's). There's probably more people than you realise!
I'm 33 and have never felt the need to drive. my partner drives so if we did get a car he is quite happy to drive. Cars cost too much to run what with tax, insurance etc which is the one reason why we dont have one and we tend to use public transport anyway
Im 29, but I never want to drive, along with smoking it is the most dangerous thing you can do. And where i live all drivers are miserable because of parking, taxes etc.etc. Moan is all they ever seem to do.

Best stick to cycling.
Yes, me. I was going to ask a question,' Is 51 too old to learn to drive?' but you have answered my question, feel ancient now.
Yep me!! cos i am banned!!
Im 40 and still trying to learn
One day!!!
I am over 35 and cannot drive! had 80 leasons and changed 3 instrucers, they all gave up before I did. one told me can i make him feel he is in the car, rather then in a boat.

But, I will do it some day. and you will, too!
I was 42 before I learned to drive - still passed first time - the additional freedom allowed me to meet my wife - at 48 now - she has no intention of learning to drive..
I am 55 and have been driving legally since my 17th birthday.

Sometimes, when you see the amount of nutters on the road I wish I didn't drive.

Personally, I don't think you are missing anything and you can honestly say you are doing your bit for the environment.
I am 45 this year I can drive yet fall apart on test day anyway can,t afford to run the car I want so got me GSXR 1000
so it is not an issue for me ,so don't worry cars of the normal type are boring and think of the money you save !
Yes. Due to an eye condition from birth.
If this helps, my mother NEVER learned how to drive and my neither has my youngest brother, who will be 41 in December. (My sisters and I DID learn, but I had to give it up due to poor eyesight that grew worse as I got older. I'm 44 now, but lost my license due to my fading vision, at the age of 28. But I went out with a perfect driving record.)
My mum who just turned 60 can't drive but my nan who's over 80 has driving for years. I didn't learn to drive until I was 20.
Yup, me due to a medical condition. But thankfully the bus service isn't bad here. It exists.
Too many people young and old can not drive because they think so. All you need is a strong determination to drive,or as a last resort : consult a psychiatrist who can encourage you that you can drive. Still, it's all in the mind.
