Engines.. exchange?

Will a ferari 355 engine fit in a porsche 996 ????

Answers:
sure . i know a guy . he is a car wizard. he can do anything. and he is not cheap .
yes, anything is possible with the right amount of money
why soil a porsche with a ferrari engine. plus your inability to spell ferrari correctly makes me doubt the validity of your question.

I have a 3.2 Jag XJ Sport. and i'm happy.
It seems a bit pointless but yes.
Not really practical. The V8 in place of the flat 6 as well as the reverse rotation and opposite position compared to the original placement in the Ferrari (note spelling) would make it unlikely.

Having said that, nothing is impossible given time, money, and fabrication skills. People have shoe horned Chevy V8s in Porsches in the past, with Kits but there is none to do this one, so it would be a one off.
Absolutely no flaming chance, not only would it cost a monolithic amount, it is physically a much bigger engine, and as it's not a boxer you'd never get it low enough.
