No Cause I look out for signs
Sounds like the landowner was waiting in the bushes for you.
not personally, cos i'm 15, but yes £60
No, but I understand they charge a exorbitant fee
If the land was posted with a no trespassing sign, or there was some means by which it would have been made clear to you that it was private land, it would likely be towed away or wheel locked.

if there was no way that you could have known that the land was private, you should appeal the fine. because that is what it is.

Take pictures of everything that happened in the area in order to prove your case, then see a lawyer and file a suit against the owner of the land, or sue them in small claims court.
yes i got clamped when i got to my car i set about takeing it of i did no damage to the clamp then i went to the office of the clamper and found the posh-est car and put the clamp and ticket on to it and on close look i could see that the ticket was just a ticket with no carbon copy tare off so i left it at that 2 month later got a court date went to court and i proved there was no sign in or around the car park and i won got all my expences that they payed for but the sting they got was i flew back from work in western russia cost them 2 filghts and 3 day court and 2 nights in the poshest hotel i could find in the area
No I haven't. I have had a big "no parking allowed' sticker slapped on my windshield, right in my line of sight. I did not see restrictions for parking, because I backed my car into a parking space and didn't see the sign. I tried to convince him it was an honest mistake, but
the business owner didn't care.
In hindsight, I was in the wrong. I should have been more aware and looked around carefully to make sure I was allowed on the site.
I understand that it is illegal to clamp unless there is a sign clearly stating that clamping is in operation. If you remove an illegal clamp, do not remove any of the parts, as that is theft. If you damage the clamp, that may be illegal also. Criminal damage or something. You could just shoot the b*****d who put it on.
only chavs do
