Soo-BA-roo is Japanese it means come together. Subaru is the car division of Fuji Heavy Industries, Polaris is the snowmobile side. Fuji is 6 companies under one name. That is why there are six stars (pleides constellation) in the Su-ba- ru emblem.

the proper way to say it is SUE-BAA-ROO.It is often called a scoobie or as i prefer to call them Chav Chariots. If you have the burberry cap and terrrier on a rope and looking for that extra status symbol and happen to have a few grand in your pocket from robbing old ladies, then may i suggest the WRX model in black or royal blue.
