Would anyone be tempted to buy a new mg zr?its on a 56 plate.is it worth the risk?
Answers:
Very risky i'd say. Apparently parts are a nightmare to try and find since they shut the factory. Probably why they are selling them off so cheap!
nice car - why not if it's a good price?
go for an Astra
Two words.Electrical Nightmare.
The car is notorious for its abismal electrical system.
no thank you
It was not a good car from its birth, dated engineering but some cosmetic improvements to try and make it sell at the end. Now you have a situation of zero dealer network and you just know that as soon as you drive it 1 mile that the value will be on its knees. I drive a BMW, keep them a year and sell them for virtually what I paid.
If the price is right, yes. Check out the warranty too.
Yes Go for it. where's the risk.
It is going to be a good price,
I would be after an MG if I was new car hunting despite the factory having closed, just find a good garage with MG Rover experience to look after it
