i have a 1996 corsa and have broken my key and lost the chip. is there any way to bypass the immobiliser???

Answers:
Turn the car upside down and remove the two AA batteries under the passenger seat!...Oh I forgot, its a pullback and go!
No go to your vx dealer with the log book and he'll get you a new key
No.
You will need to tow it to Mr. Goodwrench.
If u can find the chip u can just get a normal (non transponder) key cut and use that along with the chip which will need to b placed nxt 2 the ign barrell each time u start! cheapest option by far!!
Only other option is to go 2 vauxhall with ur details and get a new key progd in by them! not cheap!!
The security system on your vehicle does an excellent job of keeping your car-yours. To the best of my knowledge there isn't a by-pass. So your best bet is to go have a talk with your local Chevy dealer to get a new key made.
I would have 2 ask my mate Vince but you would have 2 wait a couple of years till he gets out !!! but seriously think you would be better off taking one of the other suggestions !
