What's the CHEAPEST WAY to GET TO WORK on time?
Tell me what you think it is!
Answers:
If you live in London [UK] the cheapest mode of transport is by bus. Most of London's main bus-routes have bus lanes which are in operation during peak hours if not 24/7. Your journey can often be quicker than you think it will be. The fastest mode of transport is overhead train and the surest is the tube [choob]. The car is best left at home, because you'll have to pay the congestion charge, a daily fee of £8 if you work in central London.

It depends on where you work and how far you have to travel. If you live across the street from your place of employment, your expenses would be close to zero. $20 for an electric alarm clock is about it.
Work from home.
Zero commute time.

Go to bed early and wake up early. Cheap as a fiver spent on a travel alarm clock. Saves on drinking and nights out as well.
If you already have a computer, telecommute like I do. It's as fast as your internet connection.
