Can the HMHS Britannic be raised?
Answers:
i'd personally credit it impossible. The damage is extensive from the blast which caused her to founder. The bow is also a little twisted from what I assume to be impact on the ocean floor. there's simply too many holes in the ship to raise it, and especially after 90 years the structual damage wouldn't allow the ship to physically hold it's shape. If the ship was taken out of the pressured water where she now resides, i believe she would simply collapse, or be servely unstable. it'd be like trying to put an inflated balloon under water. it'd just collapse.
i hope this helps :)
Not very likely.the extensive corrosion, not to mention the structural damage incurred when the ship sank, would make trying to raise it nearly impossible.
As with the Titanic - would be cheaper to lower the Atlantic.
As far as I know it is in the Mediterranean sea which has a higher salt content than the Atlantic. It is in deep water, and was damaged by a mine, so the structural strength has gone.
Highly unlikely, doubt there is any reason to do it and it would not be cost effective.
Not likely
extreme structural damage
and the depth at which she lies would prevent this
Sure!
You could build a replica cheaper and better!
sometime ,someday if not now
