Where is the longest and straightest road in uk where i can race test my new mercedes slr?

obviously must not have any speed cameras

Answers:
take that puppy through the chunnel and get to Germany and do it legally
A19
weymouth(dorset) to bridport coast road ..a cracker at 3-4 in the morning
in your dreams
Book a day at a test track. much safer.

But if you really insist.give the M1 a try at 4am- theres plenty of warnings when the cameras are coming up. The north section is usually free of any roadworks + cameras.
If you could really afford a half million dollar car, finding the right place to race it would be of minor consequence.
M5 pretty good however the a4174 ring road is a good one ive never seen a speed camera
2 things spring to mind

You're full of shite - and
You're full of shite
M25 during the rush hour.
You moron.
M180 junction 1 to 2 its 6 miles straight and flat and is between jurisdiction of South Yorkshire and Humberside Police. Slow down after junction 2 and do it very late at night!
A 41 good for 120 most of the day!.
The M58 Wigan (M6 J26) to Liverpool. No speed camera's and no real curves, not much traffic either. Plus I need your wheels for my E220 CDi, so let me know when you are going to try it and I can pick them up from the wreck!
W.anker Road, in w.anker! If you want to visit the real world then I know a place.

My German Marque will destroy your imaginary Merc though!!
Sounds like your trying to make up for lacking something else..brains!
down bullshit straight, from scunthorpe to Keadby is a cracking road.
Not to my knowledge, but try the road near Stonehenge,or go to Germany and try the Nugburgring.
First point.. don't be stupid.

Second point.. are you sure you've ordered a Mercedes and not a BMW?

You see, only a BMW driver would normally want to do something so arrogantly risky to other people. Or would be so daft as to ask a question like this, rather than look at a bl**dy map!!
Runway 1 Heathrow airport
Bruntingthorpe runway, don't be an idiot and do it on the road.
MUPPET!!!!!!!!
You could try the road this driver was on!
