My key fob for the remote central locking on my passat has stoped working. The batterys have been change,Help?



Answers:
put the key in the ignition and start car . then press the key fob . This should re set it
call the dealership.
consult your owners manual
you could always buy another from the dealer if this one is permanently busted.
you might have to reset the code
take it to VW to have it reprogrammed
Have a chat with the dealer
this applys to 99 on cars switch ignition on, put key to be programmed into drivers door lock,press lock or unlock button wait for at least 3 secs press lock or unlock again and vehicle horn will sound to idicate correct programming,if this doesent work the key will have to be reprogrammed at the dealership.
