Need advice with a vauxhall vectra2.0dti ls?

i have put the exhaust back box of a petrol vectra on this car could someone please tell me what problems if any this will cause with emission test during the mot thanks

Answers:
I can't imagine it will affect the emissions.
The emissions from a diesel engine of that type are mostly controlled "at source" (i.e. in the engine), with perhaps a simple oxidation catalyst in the front section of the exhaust to deal with excess HC and CO.
The job of the back box is to reduce noise.
The car may be noisier under some operating conditions, but if its not excessive you should get away with it.
shouldnt cause any problems with emissions as long as the back pressure is the same emissions are controled by the closed loop lambda circuit which monitors and adjusts the emissions as the engine runs
Dont think that it will cause any problems. If it fits good and seals ok, then you should be alright.
think these are the same anyway, only the saloon and estate rear boxes different
