Brake lights dont work on Peugeot 306 any suggestions?

Answers:
Have you checked the bulbs? The fuse? The connection behind the lights?
change the bulbs?
either get them fixed or change the bulbs before you get pulled over by the police!
check the fuse box
scrap it
check.. the fusebox.. bulbs. wiring around the bulb holder. and check the click switch at the back of the brakepedal. might just need some wd40..
get a better car you cheap french car driving fu*^%*%(.. that and check for corroded wires under the back bumper, it happens a lot
change your lights/bulbs. go to halfords or your nearest garage.
we had a Peugeot 306 for our first car and I can honestly say it's the worst car we ever had. everything went wrong. Air bag fault kept flashing up, the exhaust fell off about 10 times, the gear box went!! I could keep going on. It wasn't as though it was an old car! Everyone I speak to who has had one say the same.. Waste of money!!

My advice trade in your car and get a better one!!
I suggest you put your hand up if you are about to stop. The correct angle of the arm would indicate to others what you are doing e.g. elbow on the door edge with your lower arm and hand ( outside the door ) in a vertical position would indicate to others you are stopping. Your whole arm outside the door in a horizontal position would indicate a turn to the left ( in the USA ), a raised finger would indicate . anyway I'm sure you understand. :p
slam on the brakes to induce a rear-end collision. If you're rear ended hard enough, it will totally destroy your rear bumper, including lights, trunk, bumper, etc. The great thing is, theres no way to prove your lights were malfunctioning in the first place. Do it on a highway exit ramp or something.
The insurance money will afford you new lights and maybe a little extra for the copay for your hospital stay.
Be sure to wear a helmet, mouthguard, and clean underwear.
Hope this helps!

Sell the car.
it could be your brake light bulb sockets or bad ground or a blowen fuse in your fuse panel but i'd really think about trading your car for a chevy or a ford
if non of your brake lights are working, firstly i would check the fuse. if this is ok, check the brake light switch. (one behind your brake pedal). This might need replaceing or even just a bit of lubrication.
The possibilities are:

Bulbs - new bulbs are cheap (and you should really have at least one spare at all times anyway).
Bulb holder / wiring connectors. Use a multimeter to check if there is voltage at the connectors and that it is getting to the bulbs.
Switch on the brake pedal.
Fuse.

Bear in mind that a blown bulb could have shorted out, causing the fuse to blow too.
