Help My brakes still don't work?

The front brakes on my Escort TDX mark 6 still won't work. We've replaced the pads, discs, brake hoses, servo and master cylinder. The servo none return pipe has also been replaced. It's due to have the vacumn pump replaced though this appears to be working ( I'm getting desperate). The brakes work when the cars on rollers but won't work when it's on the road. I'm driving very carefully at the moment but people seem to have a death wish and keep 'cutting me up' HELP!
Any sensible answers would be much appreciated.

going by what you say i would suspect your vacuum is not working these are prone to go if before you start the car pump the pedal and it should be very firm then keep pressure on the brake pedal{hard}and start the engine taking revs up straight away the pedal should go down slightly indicating you have vacuum in your servo if this doesn,t happen the next step is to check the pump.undo the servo pipe to the pump and start the engine there should be a good suction at the pump if not its the pump.
Did you bleed the brake system? Almost sounds like you didn't as it wasn't mentioned. Hope you did.
Maybe the problem isn't your front brakes, have you checked the rear brakes? Have you had the calipers checked? Are they operating properly?
did you bleed the brakes and the master cylinder sometimes on these cars you need to bleed the master cylinder also make sure you have enough vacum on the booster and check the calipers make sure the piston is coming out all the way
how about the calipers,do they seem to work for you?and also you might have a air pocket in your lines,if so then it will take a while to get it out.
ah so hard to guess while not there.

Ok I assume you addressed the rears?

When you compressed the piston in your caliper you had the fluid res. cap off?

YOu have no loss of fluids I assume?

Did you bleed the master cylinder?
Did you bleed in proper order?

Main guessis bleeding master cylinder.

Next would be I am unaware of if you have to fill the calipers with fluid before install as it will be a constant of some air traveling up your line. So you may need to continue bleeding. As it sounds you covered everything else and have no leaks.

If you have rear drums remember to adjust if they dont do it while in reverse for "X" amount of feet.

I hope this helps.
sounds like the proportioning valve had shifted and may be blocking most of fluid travel to front, check the valve !
Check the proportioning valve also check for problems with rear brakes
i know it may sound stupid but did u bleed the full system if not start from the wheell furthest away from the resovior and work your way to the closest it sounds as though you have air in the system and its only allowing slight pressure to the brakes so when u are on the rollers the car is stationary so the brakes are working but on the open road u have the weight of the car going forward and thier is insuffisant pressure on the pads to stop u
What does it mean "doesn't work". Does the pedal just fall in without effect or is it hard to push ?

When the pedal is hard to push, you can check:

Is the servo drum correctly set up? I mean, the rod that comes from the servo and moves the brake pedal is correctly adjusted? Are you idling when testing the brakes in the rollers? When the car's moving and you partly open the throttle plate when pushing the accelerator, you loose some of the vacuum when the engine load is less (e.g. when you maintain a speed in flat area). When the servo rod is incorrectly adjusted, part of the barking assistance may be gone which makes you a hard time when trying to brake.
try ether new calipers or cet a caliper seal kit
if you choose the seal kit option dont forget the wire wool to clean the inside were the piston goes
tip when putting the piston back put a little brake fluid on first.
have you checked the rear brake adjusters? these are supposed to be automatic but often seize up, try pushing the pedal twice in succession, if the brakes are ok on the second application check and clean the adjusters.
