Ford transit seems to mis fire at higher speeds?
Answers:
The symptoms you describe sounds like either a sticking valve, or if it only happens at high revs it could be valve float. This is caused by weak valve springs, when the spring doesn't have time to close the valve properly before the cam is opening it again. This would apply to both petrol and diesel engines, try adding an engine clean additive to your fuel if this does not cure the problem and the problem is a valve related one, the cylinder head will need to come off for a overhaul. Best of luck with it.
SOUNDS LIKE YOUR SPARK PLUG CABLES ARE MISMATCHED.
its time for a tune up for the car. you might have a bad spark plug wire or your spark plugs might be fouling.
It's a FORD!!
sounds to me like its ur distributor or it could be ur exhaust valves in ur engine .. get it checked out by a mechanic
IT MIGHT HELP IF YOU TOLD THE "EXPERTS" OUT IN ANSWERS LAND IF IT IS PETROL OR DIESEL. ALL THIS NUTS ABOUT SPARK PLUGS/LEADS DON'T APPLY IF ITS AN OILBURNER!
i think that your valves need adjusting to the right clearance.
