I would get the bigger of the two. It provides more protection.
Get a piece of string and feed it through the awning rail. Measure from the ground up through the full length of the awning rail and down to the ground at the other end of your van. You will then have a measurement in Metres. For instance my caravan measures 8.4 metres so my awning is the model that covers 830-850. all awnings are sold in metres.
