For a first car - Vauxhall Corsa, Ford Fiesta etc?

Nissan micra
whatever gets u from a to b
vaux nova sr had it 6 days and writ it off totally gutted saved for ages
You need to specify how much you have to spend. Are we talking about a £500 shitter, or a newish car?

In either instance, go for anything Japanese. They DON'T EVER break down.
fiesta
corsa seems to be the popular car at the min small cheap for a pretty new 1 economical
Astra
get a Grimlin or a pinto, put 22 on it a General lee flag/emblem on
the top, hang pink dice from the mirror, and go castrate your self
to save a lot of money
any car within a $25,000 range, like the Ford Mustang or Mitsubishi Eclipse, is ok.that's if you want a CHEAP car!
Not the Fiesta. That is a given. I recommend anything that is NOT Japanese. In the Vauxhall Field, I recommend a Corsa or a VX220.
corsa.
Ford fiesta all the time!
Renault Clio more reliable !
Ford KA - they're zippy and reliable

Corsa's are the devils work - the most boring, poxy cars ever.
I will buy a Toyota-Sequoia. or a Hammer.
oh dear.. not a good choice , there both crap and will have too many miles on the clock by now.. You will be forever buying new parts to keep the thing going..!

Go for a Jap motor ,, or a Volvo ( My 240DL did 550,000 miles ..! ) and never let me down once..
get a classic mini cooper (not the horrible new german one) and have some fun. best handling car EVER made. look after it, and it would be worth a fortune in the future..
ford. cause if it breaks down repairs and parts are cheap.
Haven't really heard of either of these models..are you in the USA? I suggest going with a car company that has been around a long time.Toyota has good cars, as does Honda. I just got a Mazda 3 and am loving it..the Mazda 3 I have has good crash test ratings. You should also look into Volkswagen, their Jetta. They have a 5 Star crash test rating, and some of the best safety features available. If I could afford it, that would probably have been the car to get. I highly suggest getting one with great safety features, especially for a first car. =) Have fun shopping! PS-a great website to compare vehicles is http://www.vehix.com
My 80 year old maiden aunt drives a corsa - need i say more
Hi, having owned many Vauxhall Corsa's and 1 Ford Fiesta, I would go for the Ford as the cost of parts and repairs is much less that the Vauxhall.
Have you thought about a Renault Clio, you can get some real bargains at the moment from Renault Dealers as they have just brought out a new model so the old model is a good buy. and you get a good w'tee, from main dealers
I hope that you enjoy your first car and please take care on the road. Regards RoyBoy
Corsa everytime. Brilliant cars, mega reliable and good resale values.
Fiesta only average, as for the Ka they are appalling, high maintenance, poorly built shite with old fashioned engines that rattle like a skeleton break dancing on a tin roof.
Truly dreadful cars that make walking naked in a force ten gale look more appealing and less painful.

I have a fiesta, they break down a lot! I can't think of a single thing that hasn't had to be replaced. I thought maybe i wasn't giving her enough love (the car) so i painted her and gave her a new name -Philis Fiesta, but she broke down again the next day! I love that car but she doesn't love me! :o(
