What is the cheapest way to get from London to the Eden Project?
Answers:
I think the coach from Victoria is probably your best bet.
Flying always looks quick, but remember one has to check-in about two days before the flight because of the so called extra 'security' checks. And as you're going to Eden, probably don't want to be partially responsible for burning all that jet fuel.
Aarrgggh - I've just been stabbed in the arm by a plastic-spoon-wielding maniac.
Sorry, attempting humour after a day in the office. I'll go home now.
Fly from london to newquay and get the bus from there. st austell about 40 mins on the bus from newquay
Also book in advance at virgin and get train for around 40 pounds and it stops at st austell. from there you can get a bus which will take 5-10 mins
I could lend you my 15 year old diesel van.that is very cheap, and it is great when you put down your foot on the motorway, because the whole rear view mirror is blacked out with smoke.
If you can travel from stansted ryanair are doing flights to newquay for £29.99 going out and £0.01 to fly back, you can then travel from the airport.
you can take a twice daily direct service from Newquay Airport to Eden. Taxis and car hire are also available from the airport
hitch hike
..Hi the cheapest way to get to the Eden Project is by bus. You can get a bus from London Victoria for around £20 adult return (Megabus.com). You would then have to get another bus to the Project its self. There is a link on the website under Visiting that tells you more about this. Only problem with the bus, is that it takes a lot of time. If you are going as a family you could look into hiring a car for the weekend. The yellow pages is the best bet, you should be able to hire on for less than £100. Good luck.
Victoria coach station would be the cheapest option and they do a coach service to the project.Sadly national express isnt the fastest, that honour must go the railway.
