My Car has a very annoying intermittant problem. It will run for weeks without a hiccup and then it will start from cold, run OK but if you turn it off it will refuse to start. Leave it 15 - 20 and it will start and run as though nothing has happened. Anyone else had this problem and any solutions. Thanks

what reg is it ? a lot of these have loads of sensors that could be causing it ! might be expensive but a merc dealer has whats called a star system which can detect almost any faults

i agree its got a chance of a blocked fuel filter, or a flooding carb was my other thought, try some redex in the tank use redex injector cleaner if its an injection engine, and also have the vacuum hoses checked on the carb, they sometimes crack.all this is cheap
Change the fuel filter and the air filter.could be some muck in the flue filter stopping flue flow .or clogging up the injections..
No forget about the air filter that wont effect it
