When i was doing quotes on line with me as the main driver, i found the price dropped by just adding my father to my policy so you could try adding your dad and bro as named drivers and see if that works if you want to get on ur own name or you could try getting on as a named driver with ur dad/bro or sister as the main holder. I also found the price dropped greatly when i finished being a student. Things like driving to work and where the car is kept over night and what safety things are on ur car like alarms etc may also help you.

get ur dad to insure it and for u to be the named driver
being the only person to drive it will invalidate the policy if anybody else takes one out for you as THEY are supposed to be the MAIN driver.
Do what everybody else does. Get a cheap crappy car for a year or two.or.cough up a couple of grand for insurance.
The insurance co's are ruthless if you do a false claim - and it won't be YOU that loses their policy and get's done for fraud..never to get a policy again.with anyone.
