Yeah, I did it on a night bus after the notting hill carnival one year.
I woke up in Kent, having only wanted to go to south london.
I had no money, no card and no telephone.
The bus driver refused to take me back unless i bought another ticket.
I had to walk for three hours in the general direction of london, and then another hour and a half to get home.
Bummer !

Yes, and on the underground aswell. And always late at night, when the last train/bus back has already left, so I have to call a taxi.

everytime I ride a bus, I have to ask the driver to wake me up when he get to where I want off.

Yes several times although ive always managed to wake uup somewhere bfore my own stop but takes a while to recognise my surroundings, once on the nightbus the very cool driver actually had to wake me up in my own town, he thankfully recognises me as he drives the nightbus every Saturday

No, but once while working for a hostel, convincing tourists on express trains to Athens to stay at that hostel, on the way to Inoi, the last stop for express trains before Athens, I fell asleep on the train and woke up only minutes before arriving at the end of the line. By the time I got back it was no use waiting for the express train anymore, since it had long gone. To give an indication how much time the detour cost me: The express trains usually were very late, making us wait at Inoi for 2 to 4 hours.

however, one day i fell asleep on my comfy little bed at 6 PM and I woke up. it was 8 PM then but the lights had gone out and come back so the alarm clock was messed up. I thought it was 6 in the morning. when I went into the living room, everybody was awake and I'm like wtf?
I did it on the way home once from Liverpool. I was really tired and had had a fair few drinks. I was aware that I had to stay awake because my stop was not far off but then I woke to the sound of the bus driver shouting, 'last stop mate!'. Luckily he bombed back to my stop and dropped me off. Nice chappy.

itz always happens due to anxiety and tiredness nothing to worry abt, i even got at the 490kms off, on my wayback to country side becauz of it .all u have to do is don't panic.

Yeah i remember being a student and falling asleep with lots of shopping upstairs on a bus. Woke up about half an hour later, frozen food all melted and half the stuff nicked! Had to wait on the bus another hour until it came back round to my stop, then had to pay a huge fair before the driver let me off again! Lol

I'm forever falling asleep on trains, usually i'm ok and havn't missed my stop but on a few occasions i have totally missed it and had to transfer.
It's lethal, the motion of the train just sends me to sleep, i blame my mum, she used to drive me around in the car when i was young to get me to sleep, think this must be deep rooted in my brain somewhere and each time i get on a train i must revert back to childhood lol

You must teach yourself and you body to recognize places whether you are asleep or awake. I always think the sound of the engine or sound of wheels on the road are different for each place. You can be forgiven if its a new route but not on your daily one.
