Peugeot 106 engines cuts out every5 miles restarts ok for an other 5 miles?
Answers:
Fuel filter (s), clogged
Could be a faulty coil or fuel vapourisation, but sounds to me more like a electrical fault.
Depends what age your vehicle. Could be an immobiliser fault. Book in to Peugeot dealer for it to go on their diagnostic machine, but insist that they just do diagnosis and don't proceed with any repairs until they have spoken to you!
yip sounds like your flux capacitor is burn out.no time traveling for you .
if its an early car ie: 1992, these had problems with the single point injection.
later cars suffer from the idle control valve which is a black plastic unit screwed to the left hand side of the throttle body as your looking at the engine.
let someone diagnose it, save money in the long run
