What is it with these vans that have "CLANCYDOCWRA" on them?

Hi, I do a lot of driving about the place, mainly on dual carriageways and I have started to see some vans with "CLANCYDOCWRA" or something similar on them. What is the purpse of these vans as it seem an unlikely name for a company, unless it is a bit Polish or something, I don't know.

can anyone shed light on this mystery? thank you.

Are you sure it's not ECNALUBMA? That one's meant to be read in your rear-view mirror so you'll get out of the way.
It is the name of an English construction company. Apparently they have a construction contract in your area.

It's Martian for "we have taken over".
yep red and green transits used by a national contrats company. they love digging holes in the road for transco and the like
they are specialist test drivers for the ford motor company, they are testing ford transits [usually] to distruction, they seem to be exempt from any driving laws, dont get in there way what ever you do !
I think you'll find that they are motorway maintenance vehicles.
