Where can i get a longer dipstick for my car?

I've never had any complaints about the length of my dipstick!
you have to have the right dip stickfor your car other wise you wont be measuring it properly!
go to autozone and order one
or the dealership~

I had the same problem, couldn't find a longer one anywhere. Got a kind welder to simply weld an extra piece on the end and ta da, it reached the oil. Waste of time mind you as after a fortnight, the engine siezed.
Marry a tall blonde.
Contact the dealer for the manufacture of your car and give them the year, make, model and engine size of your car. The dipstick is lengthened to fit the motor and the wrong size will leave your oil level too short or too high, both will damage your engine.
You could try your local Scrap-Yard..They're bound to have one lying about!!
What are you doing? with out more info why are you needing a longer dip stick? I just put a engine and trans from a Chevy van into a Chevy truck, the trans dip stick is way to long, I went to the parts store, bought a complete dipstick and tube and I am done. So question: did you change the trans? What type of car? Maybe you went from a manual to an automatic, but then a stock tube and stick would work, wouldn't need it longer. MORE info. Good luck Dave

You have to be kidding if your stock dipstick isn't reading the that's because you don't have enough in there! whatever you do don't drive until someone who has seen more then 2 cars in there entire life helps you!
Celtic Pagan above is on the right track, but if you don't have access to a "kindly welder" you could try my method which involves unravelling a wire coat hanger, marking MIN & MAX on it for the authentic factory look and sticking it in the hole till it goes "dink"
Trim of any excess with a pair sissors and bobs your uncle .
Curious how my car blew up after 2 weeks as well, must be something in the petrol these days.
Put the car up on a few bricks under the wheels , this will make the engine higher & your dipstick will be long enough!
