I have 2 questions.I heard a clicking sound from around the exhaust (like a tappet sound)and the engine check light came on,after a few miles it dissapeared.I disconnected the battery the light stayed off for a week.It is now back on again with the clicking sound.Is it a sensor?. The offside window is not dropping to allow the door to open ,the micro switch in the door handle is working as I can here it operating the window motor.Is there an ajustment I can make?.

Any shop can scan it. I would probably find a Porsche specialist as you may be causing engine damage by diregarding it.

could be a sensor or sticky tappet get it checked out just in case its doing damage and being a porsche not cheap
