don't know, on instructions from the government, I no longer notice colour. are you still allowed to say "colour" or should we use the expression "palette shade"?
Silver
red
Something about car colours that cropped up a few years back. It was found that Traffic Patrol officers were playing 'car snooker' whereby they had to 'do' a red car first, then any colour as in snooker, black being 7 points. After fifteen 'reds' they would continue yellow, green, brown, blue, pink, black. So, this supposed 'urban myth' meant that red was the worst colour to have and black the second. Incidentally, we have a thing here in the UK about the notorious 'white van driver'. There are so many of them around that it appears that all aspects of bad driving is put down to the said 'white van driver'. As for colours of the most common cars, I would say Silver, black, red, green are the most common in that order.
