How much would it cost to repair scratches on a car?

Like 1 small scratch for example.

get some coloured t cut
T cut it! Cheap, easy and even a woman can do it (thats me!). Go to Halfords, you can get it from there + a cloth. Enjoy, its good fun, its a bit addictive actually, you might end up doing your whole car!
'chips away' about £30
If you can feel a ridge on the scratch, prob won't come out. Show it to a painter and ask if it'll buff out using wet and dry paper. If not for a half decent paint job you'll be bout £120 per panel. If its metallic, prob be a bit more.
Get some compond and polish and follow the instructions. Definitely better than t cut. also use a lot of elbow grease. And the results will be fantastic
