Where has my clutch pedal gone?

I have just gone out to my Nissan Serena to find that the clutch pedal has dropped and is now only about 1-2 inches from the floor of the car. It still works and is not slipping at all and gear change is smooth. Where has it gone and what can I do? (UK). Thanks for any advice.

Answers:
first check fluid level. then go to repair shop 4 new clutch.sorry for the bad news.
sounds strange, get it into a dealer to have it looked at - could be the cable that's stretched or just a screw that fallen out. Never seen this before though.
You need to adjust the tension on the cable.Take it to a mechanic unless you are able to do it yourself.Cheap repair.
my handbrake broke! :_(
If u do not sit back reglage it
more than likely needs bleeding, "but" could also be the master and slave cylinders. (try the bleed first).
u might have a kink in the cable disconnect from clutch and pull through or u can try by putting your toe underneath the pedal and try and bring it back up ok
