What vehicles cant be towed with an A frame?

Answers:
USUALLY THOSE "OLDIES BUT GOODIES" WHICH HAD AN ACTUAL BUMPER===THE BEST "TOW BARS"FASTENED ABOVE "!SHACKLED BOLTED" TO THE BUMPER,AS WELL AS "CHAIN TIED/BOLTED UNDERNEATH TO THE FRAME,OR NEAR THE "A-FRAME"---AH! I MISS BOTH, THE VEHICLES,AND THOSE GOOD OLE DAYS!
not sure
In the UK,about the only vehicle that can be legally towed is the Aixam,a tiny little 4 wheeled car, except to recover off motorway etc and should only be to next exit.A lot of people tow all sorts of vehicles but once on an A-frame a vehicle becomes a trailer and as almost all vehicles take the weight to over 750kg then it should be braked independantly of the towing vehicle
depending on the a frame, vehicles over 1800kgs. so most cars are ok, but not vans. oh, and low slung sports cars for obvious reasons.
plus, you need to check your license to see if you can tow over a maximum combined mass of 3 tonnes without taking a seperate test. (thats the combined weight of towing vehicle and towed vehicle)
Oh, and if you are towing it behind a vehicle 7.5 tonnes or over then the towed vehicle has to be braked.
Confused? i am.
Almost any car can backing up can be a problem. Also check your owners manual lots of cars have to have transmission lubricated by engine running every 60 miles. Some say no flat towing. Dolly's under the driven wheels is a good idea or car trailer if you have a big enough truck. Example Mazda Miata nice car transmission shaft lack of lubrication shaft seized and caused the engine to start spinning until the connecting rod broke. He was screaming my car only has 6,000 miles its warranty. That was until I showed him in his owners booklet not to flat tow.
If you mean cars being flat towed from behind another vehicle, there are a bunch that can't be towed, especially those with automatic transmissions. Check the manufacturers specs. To start with, any model Saturn, Jeep Liberty, newer Toyota Corollas are all great for flat towing.
Motorbikes tend to be quite difficult
