Is the driver information system on a Peugeot 1007 Dolce a colour screen?
Answers:
No not from the 4 or 5 1007's I have driven, the screen is monochrome i.e. black writing on an orange background, not colour even in the sport 1.6 .
Their similar to the screens found on late 406's but mounted up higher.
I don't think they do one with a colour sat nav either!
By the way the auto gearbox models use the auto shifted manual gear change type of arrangement, and the gear change quality is abysmal. A little like having moreen from driving school in the passenger seat with control the clutch and gear stick.
Always put it in manual mode when on the motorway because when you go to over take it likes to change down not one but two gears i.e. 5th to 3rd and then baulk at the high engine revs then drop the clutch for ages and finally change back to 5th right in the middle of your manouvre leaving you at 42 MPH in a fast lane with the vehicles behind you doing almost 80MPH!
A little bit worring to say the least.
Go for a manual version.
Also
Looked on the web and only found the screen is 'neat' so maybe it is not colour as they would have mentioned it.
Hope someone owns this car and answers for you.
good luck
