1992 renault clio central locking fault. how to fix?
Answers:
You have only blown a fuse as you shorted a live wire while disconnecting the radio. Make sure there are no bare wires behind the radio as it could lead to more serious problems like catching fire.
It is usually a 15 amp fuse that runs the interior lights and radio etc. Good luck
maybe you disconnected the wrong wire ?
i had 1 of those cars until last week - my advice is . best thing to do is scrap the car - they are a pain in the but.
as for your problem - maybe you disconnected your permanent live supply ( the one that keeps radio memory etc). some people feed that off int light or central locking. need to reconect wire bypassing stereo - too earth should do it
You could have simply blown a fuse - sounds more likely to me.
Try your manual to find the fuse box, and it will also tell you what fuse operates what.
The fuse box is usually under the dashboard on the right, with a ppull down panel, or, if I remember correctly from when I had a laguna, it was inside the glove box behind a panel.
Probably a fuse gone somewhere - probable in youe main fuse box
