whats the problem has the belt snapped or have you taken it off and forgotten which way it goes?
if your just changing it make a sketch of the belt route, the belt itself is on an auto tensioner 13mm spanner i think and move tensioner and you will see the belt go slack.
Since it's an escort.the belt probably cost you more than blue book on the car.lmao
