What is the peugeot 306 xsi like?

Its OK. Ive got one. Had it for 4 years now and had no problems at all other than the normal service stuff. One thing it is quite bad at is tyres, especially fron tyres. Seems to go through them every 12 to 18 months and they aint cheap.
Service not cheap either if you take it to Peugeot, but just find ourself a cheap garage that will do it for half the price.
Overall not a bad car at all.
i was looking for a car recently & was warned off the 306 coz too many reported faults with it but hey you see enough of them around so they must be ok (i just know it put me off definately) why not get a sporty golf? i kno they more expensive but u pay for what u get
Pro's 2 litre and relitavley cheap to insure!
but that is also a con because of the above was a boy racers favorite! and had probably had a very hard life!
if history is all old women then go for it! tell tail signs are burberry caps on the back seat and padded seat belt covers!

Probably fun, without the insurance premiums of the GTI6. Look out for electrical hiccups, check for any modifications, and avoid cars that appear to have been thrashed and abused by boy racers. Any signs of accident damage should be a tell-tale sign.
Pros: it is easier to push than a Mercedes.
Cons: you will have to push it very often.
