I have pierced the rear plastic window in my MX-5. the garage tells me I may as well replace the whole roof at a cost of £800. Surely there muct be a cheaper way. can I just replace the rear window panel? How?

You could try eBay and get a cheep one off there and fit it yourself. I did it's not too hard to do.
