Is the BMW Alpina B3 3.3 better than a BMW M3?

unless you REALLY know how to drive you wont really tell the difference so it depends do you buy on looks (a matter of taste) or boasting down the pub (a matter of IQ)
i personally buy my cars on the basis of do i like the car as an overall package and never mind the figures
a car that does 0-60 in 6.2 and 150 mph is still no slug against one that does 6.1 sec and 152mph

the alpina will be more collectable. look at b10 biturbo prices compared to an early e34 m5.

They are differerent cars so you need to try both beofre deciding. M cars are supposed to be track cars for the road, uncompromising performance cars for the speed nuts amongst us.
Alpinas are more tuned up versions of the standard cars and although fast and good handling are more suited to someone who likes his speed a bit more refined. Hence why alpinas come with Auto boxes and M cars don't.
Bmw M3 is faster and agressive
I love M3s but i'd go for an Alpina, i think theres isn't as much going about as M3s and they are good looking, the Alpina alloys are nice on any older BM. ---ALPINA
M3 is the car has better performance. B3 is the just less attractive
