inconsiderate
Some mini-cab companies have a policy of not letting their drivers get out of the car when they go to pick up punters from their homes. Consequently, they peep their horns to get their attention. This always happens in a residential area, of course. Well done, you idiots!! Mind you, it's because they are scared of getting out of their cabs which shows the type of society we've become so maybe it's a matter of reaping what we sow
Instead of knocking on the door? Are you expecting someone to get out of their car and go knock on the person's door? you're kidding.
The horn is for attention and avoidance and WAKE UP.
Hold on, the alternative is knocking on the door? Of what, your car? Someone else's? You don't think I should be allowed to honk my horn when someone cuts me off?
and why are you such a blatant, raging hornophobe. i mean i believe that in a world where hitler was defeated by the armies for freedom 60 years ago, everybody should and could have the right to sound their horn as and when they see fit. obviously you are just another of the long line of shaven headed, bovver booted, ayran race skinhead boo boys. well we won't be defeated by you and your like. small mindedness won't beat us. we will stand strong for a united britian and the right to peep when we like.
Why get out of the car when you can call on your cell or blow the horn hey what can i say i am lazy.
Because our arms arent long enough to reach the door bell from the drivers seat!!
They are just plain rude. Once a guy came to pick me up for a date and blared his horn when he got to mine instead of coming over to knock. That was our last date ever!
Yes, the other day at 6 30 something am, there was a car stopped outside a house across the street for 10 minutes blowing the horn every 30 seconds or so.
Get the hell out and knock on the damn door!!
No, you shouldn't honk your horn for being cut off, what's the point? Everyone makes an occassional error, your honking doesn't accomplish anything.
No, you shouldn't honk outside of someones home to call them out. You walk up to the door and greet them. Oh, yeah chew with your mouth closed and when you call someone on the phone announce who you are! This reminds me of Tony Soprano yelling at his kids, it might be 2001 our there but it's 1954 in here!
They shouldn't do that, better use the mobile phone if they are scared to get out of the car.
The Highway Code, rule 92, is quite clear on the use of the horn, other wise it is just ill bred ignorant people, probably all these damned ignorant immigrants we have to tolerate these days
Presumably GS97 is one of those undesirables
When those type of laws were written horses were the primary mode of transportation throughout the world, and people didn't want their horses startled. These days horses are a luxury instead of a necessity. That is an outmoded law that needs to be rescinded. In today's society, getting out of your car to knock on another persons door, means you are probably about to get your booty kicked. In many places it means the person getting out of the car is about to be shot.
its faster than getting out of the car
uses my horn , because the people that called for help are too lazy to be out at their car waiting
I work nights and I think it is rude, obnoxious behavior at any time of day. People getting everybody in the areas attention when they only want one person's attention shouldn't be something we have to put up with.
Because you have to:
1. Knock off the engine
2. Take off your seat belt
3. Open the door and get out
4. Lock the door
5. Walk up the path (if they have one)
6. Knock door
7. Repeat the above steps in reverse order.
they are sooooooooooo silly
Der because its more convenient, would you get up to turn the TV over or would you use the remote control? or why not go and pay your bills in person rather than using the Internet or telephone?
