I need a wheel trim but what size do I get.?
Answers:
Probably 14 inches.
Check the tyre sidewall - this will have the tyre size.
It will look something like this:
175/65 R 14 79 T
The 175 is the tyre tread width in millimetres.
The 65 is the profile (height of tyre sidewall as percentage of width)
The R refers to a radial-construction tyre.
14 is the wheel rim diameter in inches.
79 is a load rating - the heavier the car, the higher this number will be.
T is a speed rating.
The R will be the only part that doesn't change across all modern cars.
The two digits immediately after the R are what you need to know.
Probably best to get a 14&1/2inch one!!
Whatever size is on your tyre
no need to be technical
last number on tyre size is size of trims
i.e. 14 or 15
oh and they will be 14"
15 mate . u mite even b able 2 fit 16 , that looks good !
if you are not sure what you are looking at on the tyre ,put a tape rule on one side of the steel wheel rim and measure across to the other side of the rim, this will tell you what you want to no.have a good day.
