From tales of old, it has been said that the Mk1 golf gti was the best hot hatch ever made. Then along came the 205 gti. In my opinion they are both great cars, But the 205 has better handling, better performance and is more stylish out of the box. Used prices are climbing up past the Mk1, due to high demand so for the moment 205's are best ever made. ( I wanted a Mk1 or 2 golf once they were mega money so i kept my 205. wanted to have both but couldn't) still got it after 6 years.

uno turbo, strada arbarth, mk1 xr2, 205 gti, all cracking little cars at the time and still fun now.
