Cutting tool 4 cars?

what tool would i need 2 cut a hole into my car bonnet thx sean

Answers:
disc cutter and a steady hand.
if you go to a decent motor mechanic they will cut it with an air saw 4 you, cheaper than hiring a cutter
Depends on the size.
a drill !
if it is a small hol;e up to a couple of inches in dia then use a hole cutter. Anything over that I would drill a pilot hole and use a fine toothed hacksaw blade. Not in the saw but wrap a cloth round it and saw away
you can find a hole saw at the hardware store :)
If it is to be a small hole, I would recommend a hole saw. If it is to be a large or irregular shaped hole, I would recommend using a cut off-wheel/small disc type cutter. A nibbler would also work well too.

Using a saw is an option, but you run the risk of distorting the metal surrounding the actual cut.

If a saw is used, a medium speed, FINE tooth blade would be highly recommended.

Ideally, a plasma cutter would do the trick!
Wow there are all kinds of cutting tools. Die grinder with a cut-off wheel. body air saw. Sawzall. Dremil tool. Plazma cutter.
Try a hole saw
It depends on what size of hole and where you want to cut it. I recommend a QMax sheet metal cutter. It cuts a clean burr free hole that doesn't need any finishing. Costs around £5.
A high powered drill and a metal cutting hole-saw bit
