i heard it was Damon Hill but a bit odd considering the amount of times he has gone on the show and taken differnet driving lines to 'The Stig' and his driving times and styles are different.
It's always a top driver but it's not consistent - they will just have whoever is available at the time. That's why the identity is anonymous and it's just 'The Stig'.
It did used to be Damon Hill as he comfirmed it in his biography.
