I think so.

I agree that there is no need to jump up and down about them.
Fine things.
I dot around in an oldish 900SE, and it is splendid.
Ahead of it's time, with CD changer, leather electric seats, P/S, cruise control at the prod of a button, which keeps be correct to within one mph in restriced areas, (which has probably saved a few quid through speedy cameras),
A system called climate control, which goes heat or A/C automatically, and a button that I only discovered when I thought my ar*e as on fire - heated seats.
No real maintainance on the thing, and it spins the wheels for an astounding bit of acceleration.
All for a thing worth around £2K
Nuff said.
Bob.
No,
I am in the car business. They are not reliable and the resale value is terrible.
I don't care I'm getting one in a few weeks - as its a company car and a step up from what I currently drive I'm not complaining a jot.
I usd to have a 900 and its was a great car, not perfect tho. The new 9 3s and 9 5s are nowhere near as well made as the 900s or even the 9000s.
if they had any smarts, then any SAAB questions should be posted int eh GM section, after all they are a GM company
I have always had a soft spot for Saab's but need to admit that they don't hold resale values well ( good if you want to buy a used one as we will get a 93 cabrio next year cheap! ) and I bought a Lexus IS200 rather than the 93 Sport that I was also looking at 2 years ago.
I've always had Saab's and I can never fault them, never had a problem and probably wouldn't ever have anything as my first car. I currently drive a Saab 93 Sport Saloon Aero and I think it's just utterly fab!
