And someone made a good point about Skoda's new models; since they became part of VW, they're in a different league to previous generation. Point of interest; world record for standard uphill acceleration test is held by a Skoda (0-100mph in less than 5 seconds).

A word of advice for people who 'mock' Skoda's
Its probably better built than your car-whatever the make BMW Merc etc. And the comfort is brilliant.
I have got more value for money with my Skoda than probably any other make out there.
