they are considerably different. The x type is a 30,000+ car and the S is a 40,000+ car. The platform of the x is the same as the ford Taurus and share more than 30% of their parts. The S is a completely different platform. The drives are completely different too..The x drives like a ford while the S drives like a luxury vehicle. The grilles of the x are longer and thin while the S has a roundish grill. The size of the S is much bigger and more comfortable for anyone over 5'8" tall. Engines, suspension and transmissions all much better in the S. If you can swing the extra cash, the S is a much better buy.
nothing at all..i followed two yesterday at different times and both drivers were..1)on the phone while driving..2) reading maps/directions while driving..3) playing with the on board gadgets..sat nav /mobile /CD..etc and both drivers drove me mad and frustrated by constantly speeding up and slowing down.50..40..20..50..30.10 (on de restricted sections of road) ..all while NOT paying enough attention to the road..one even hit the roadside verge twice!!
