Which out of these so-called prestige cars should I hire/rent?

for a couple of days:

Audi A6 Allroad Biturbo
BMW 5 Series
Mazda RX8
BMW 735i
BMW X5
BMW Z4 Convertible
Jaguar XJ8
Mercedes C Class
Mercedes CLK 320 Convertible
Mercedes ML350
Mercedes S350
Mercedes SLK 200
Porsche Boxster
These are the ones listed. Alos are the really sporty ones like the Porsche easy to drive/handle as I've never driven a sports car before?

Answers:
If you want to look cool or be sporty get the Porsche It's designed to be an everyday sports car so it's easy to drive as well as being sporty.

If you want to carry people in comfort get the BMW 735 or the Mercedes S350 - they're big comfortable cars

If you've got lots of luggage get the ML350 or the BMW X5 - it's a 4x4 with plenty of boot space
BMW 735I It is roomier than all above and a lot more responsive. You can have friends go along and it screams sensibility with money.
Depends on whether you're looking to pose or race it!

For my money - and if the weather's holding out - go for a convertible. I can throughly recommend both the Merc CLK320 and the Jag XK8.
go for the slk because it is easy to drive and convertible. the porsche is the most fun and sounds the best but if you are not used to mid engined cars it might spin you off the road, as you are not used to the power/weight etc. the rest are for old people.
Go with the Audi it would be the safest for an inexperienced driver, the Porsche would be too much to handle and the Mercedes well they are just Mercedes. The Audi Quattro will keep you safe and secure and yet you can drive the wheels off of it. Have a good time.
the boxster handles like a dream. it depends what your doing and where your going. i personally prefer the bmw 5 series tho
I would have to say BMW 5 series - Specially if you deal drugs :D
you've picked a fine list here. which one do you like? porche are easy to drive as long as you know how to drive a stick properly.whatever your mood is in, go to a dealership that has the vehicles and choose 1.
Mercedes CLK 320 Convertible
all the joys of an open top and none of the ownership responsibilities, just everyone and the world is driving BMW's at the moment! Let us know which one you chose and what you liked/disliked about it. Very jealous they are some great cars on this list.
I'm in fortunate position to honestly say I've driven all of the above on several occations (I'm a concierge for a 5 star hotel) Yes, the porsche is ok and if you go for that don't gun it until the brakes have warmed up! Forget the mercs unless you like harder seats, the audi is comfy and surprisingly fast but you don't need an estate, the rx8 takes getting use to as there's no engine braking, the jag is refined, and quick but thirsty and heavy on the handling. Your best bet is a new diesel 7 series, it'll do 140, is good on fuel, has an aluminium frame/body so despite its size is great on the handling, loaded with gadgets and you dont even need to take your hands of the wheel to change gear in sport mode, take the bmw and you'll be safe as well as feeling like a queen.
Jaguar XJ8 or merc CLK 320 Convertible, i prefer jags specially an old xj6..cant beat a 4.2 litre straight six!!
Got to be the porsche boxster, pure quality motor and easy to drive, Hire this and you will want to buy one, its that good.
You've got to go for the one that's most different from what you normally drive, so that the experience is worthwhile.

For me, that would mean the Boxster (mid-engined flat-6) or the RX8 (rotary engine, rear wheel drive), although if an Elise was on the list I'd probably go for that instead.
My God that is your shortlist! Its awful, if you want a car just for the day then listen up. The Boxster is the only decent one on your list but make sure you get the S, oh and the SLK55 is fun.

I have got a Ferrari 430 and it is the best car I have ever had. I lent it to my brother for the weekend and he said he seriously considered going on the run and not giving it back. If you wanna hire one check out Blue Chip Cars.

If you want more space and more comfort I also have a MERC CLS 55 AMG which I would highly recommednd for a longer journey. Especially as the ferrari is very uncomfortable if you are driving for more than two hours straight.

On a budget Boxster S other wise F430! It will be worth it
Z4 CONV nice,nippy and pratical
