rolls royce vickers engines
the russians wanted to get their dirty hands on these engines, but the british wouldn't sell it to them.
until they played a game of pool (billiards) and the russians won a round and the british sold them 1 engine and they took that and reverse engineered it and put that engine in the MIG fighter plane.
the first MIGs had Rolls Royce engines in it.
they flew over North Korea and then they sold those planes to the Chinese and Vietnam.
The triple 7's..
"The GE90-115B engine for the 777-200X and -300X will be the world's most powerful engine, using the most advanced engine technologies in commercial aviation history."
It would have to be the Rolls-Royce jets that were put on the Concorde.(Since retired)
Correct me if im wrong, but i believe its the General electric engine designed for the Boeing 777
Boeings General Electric 90. Its not boeings but is used on the 777. Its a beast. They recently carried ONE of these on a 747. They shut down the other engines to flight test it and it managed to keep the Jumbo in the air all on its own. So yes its a Beast.
GE90. They are on Virgin airways.
