My car has a flat tyre, what do I do?
Answers:
Handbrake ON. Car in gear. Ignition off, keys in your pocket.
Find the jack, the wheel brace, and the spare. The jack and brace are probably inside the spare (or the brace may be in the boot, clipped to something). The spare will be under the carpet in the boot, or slung in a cage under the car at the back. If under the car, there will be a screw somewhere under the boot carpet that you undo (for ages) to lower the spare out of its cage. You need the wheelbrace for that.
If the spare is flat, don't bother doing anything else.
Is there a hubcap on the wheel? Lever it off with a screwdriver. Using the wheelbrace, loosen the four wheelnuts. You will need non-blonde muscles for this.
Find where on the underside of the car the jack is meant to touch to hold the car up. Get it right or damage the car and your fingernails/neck. Jack the car up at the flat wheel until it's well off the floor.
Finish undoing the wheel nuts and pull the wheel off. Put the spare on, making sure it goes on square, just the same way that the other one came off. If you didn't jack the car up enough for a fully inflated tyre, you find out now.
Put all four wheelnuts on and tighten them hard. Lower the wheel back onto the deck by un-jacking and remove the jack. Tighten the wheel nuts again. Summon the non-blonde within.
Put everything in the boot (note: it's all pretty dirty), wash your hands, and go to a cheap garage and get the main tyre repaired and put back on.
Flag down a gullible man.

You should probably take it to a car shop and get it repaired!

Tyre? You mean tire, right? Go online and search "How to change a flat" - you will get instructions on how to change your tire.

put the jack in the correct hole under the car. undo the bolts a tiny bit.. then jack it up.. and remove bolts then wheel, then put spare wheel on.. tightening bolts to nearly full up.. lower car..remove jack.. then tighten bolts up using as much pressure as you can..
take car to garage to check pressure is correct.. in handbook.
sorry, you should know how to change a flat, and take the flat tire to a service station right away. Depending on the type of flat, they can be repaired pretty inexpensively. But if the tire is very damaged, you will have to replace it.
if you are at home. and on the internet do a search and learn how to do it! Otherwise ask a friend to come over and help you!
