My renault laguna DCI is playing up?

WHEN MY CAR IS TICKING OVER THE OIL/TEMPERATURE AND STOP LIGHTS HAVE STARTED COMING ON BUT WHEN I ACCELERATE THEY GO OFF, THE CAR IS RUNNING OK AND HAS THE CORRECT AMOUNT OF OIL HAS ANYONE ANY IDEAS TO WHAT THIS COULD BE?

Answers:
It could have something to do with oil pressure. If the car loses oil pressure the warning lights should come on. At idle the oil pressure is naturally quite low and it increases the harder you rev the engine. The sensor could be a bit dodgy and reading low, hence the warning lights coming on and going off when you use the throttle. If you are sure it's running fine it should be okay. It's a diesel after all, so quite tollerant! What's the mileage?
The instrument clocks may be faulty or have a loose connection. Also there may be a loose connection going onto the oil light switch on the engine or the switch itself may be faulty. Process of elimination i would say, starting with the switch
