Can I park my motorhome on my drive?
Council have been round and they don't see any problem as the van fits easily on the drive.
Answers:
Your drive Your van.
Whats it registered as with the DVLA?
Tell the neigbours where to go they will be wasting their time and money. The council say its fine so the courts will agree,
or tax and insure it and park it on the road,
It's your driveway, park on it
Not in Oldham, it would be nicked before you got in the front door
its your drive. as long as it does'nt infringe on the property or overhang onto the pavement, they can do nothing.
I would say no.also why would you want to annoy your neighbours?? Would you be happy if they parked one on their driveway and blocked out all your light and view?
Please find somewhere suitable to park it xx
If the council cant see a problem, then park there.
Park it on the sidewalk outside your neighbours house. That should solve the problem.
Really depends on not only what state you live in but the country and the city, all three have some zoning laws, in your case may not be upgraded, so your home free! But then some sections have their own little home owners and they have inserted little by laws etc, but in your case seems like your ok, especially in a court case if you neighbor is that big of an a*sshole, because you can show with a picture it fits in your drive way and does not block anything and also show the clearence on the sides of the drive in relation to the rig also! Good Luck
where I live, you cannot-you must use a storage facility unless yo u have a garage to park it in-not many do-you can call your county asessor for this info. motorhomes are not classed the same as a van is it is a coach, not a caravan-apparently there is a difference---- research, research
Your property. If your neighbor dosn`t like it tell him there is a lot of real estate in the California or Arizona desert where he can live in peace and harmony and see as far as he can see. I would tell him to kiss my @ss. Good luck.
I would say you need legal advice.
Your deeds are the issue here. If they state that caravans are not allowed, then you will have to legally prove that your motorhome is a "motorhome" and not a "motorcaravan".
Good luck.
Your house - your drive - your motorhome - your choice - your neighbours hard luck!
A motorhome is a motor vehicle not a static structure.
If the council are`nt bothered why worry?
yes
if the council is ok about you should have no problems
